used in several industries in Japan, i.e. Ceramics industry (as

polish of semiconductor chips, TV glass making process
and so on.
We are the sole agent of Australian mineral
sands manufacturer, which produces the largest amount
in the world and are keeping a dominant share of the
Japanese Zircon sands market for a long time. |

| Ferro-Nickel is a ferro alloy consisting
of iron and nickel, which is the main raw material to
produce stainless steel. Volume of worldwide stainless
steel production is expected to increase further, mainly
in China and regions such as Eastern Europe. Production
capacity of Ferro-Nickel in Japan is enough to meet demand
from domestic users at present, and Ferro-Nickel produced
in Japan is also being exported mainly to South Korea & Taiwan
where stainless steel production is expanding. We, Rasa
Corporation, have been exporting Ferro-Nickel to Taiwan
since 1995 and maintaining stable earnings from this
business. |

in current is basing on our global business network,
which we have built up in the foods and natural resources
business over a long period of time since the Company’s
establishment. This business network will link up foods
and natural resources division with the industrial and
construction machineries division as well as the environmental
